The farm sits at the base of the eastern slope of the Majella massif within the national park. The building was constructed in the 1950s and has recently been refurbished. On the ground floor there is the kitchen, a dining room for 50, a large wooden portico where food is served in summer, and then there is the garden with play equipment for children. Upstairs are the rooms, a small kitchen for guest use, a common room with fireplace and reading corner (with books and magazines that can help you with your vacation planning), and a large terrace offering a view of the Majella massif. On the farm you’ll find a five-man football pitch, tennis court, ping pong table, billiard table and some bicycles. Approximately 10 hectares of the farm are dedicated to agriculture with olives the main crop, used to produce an excellent extra virgin oil and green table olives. In addition we grow grains and forage for the animals we raise (milk cows for cheese and milk for our guests, veal calves, chickens, rabbits, sheep and hogs used for the meat we serve) .
Rooms We offer six double rooms with a total of 16 beds; in four of the rooms an extra bed can be added, and in one room there’s space to added two beds. Four rooms have en-suite bathroom and two share a bathroom. The rooms are made up every day and linens are changed every three days. Two large rooms (one with fireplace) are available for private parties or group holidays, providing total autonomy surrounded by the beauty of the landscape.
Dinner is served in the dining room or, in summer, on the portico near the garden. Meals are based on typical regional dishes.
