AGRITOURISM FARMHOUSE CALABRIA - SEA - RESTAURANT - ROOMS - AIR CONDITIONING - TIPICAL DISHES

In a charming setting on a hill overlooking the Riviera dei Cedri, you’ll find the Fattoria di Arieste. It is only about 1.5 km from the sea on the road between Cirella (a fraction of Diamante) and Maierà, a small, picturesque municipality.
From an elevation of a little less than 50 metres you can enjoy a fine view from Cirella until Scalea and, on particularly clear days, as far as Palinuro. And to complete the scene, the suggestive ruins of old Cirella that can be reached by a short walk along ancient paths.
Located on the Tyrrhenian coast, the estate looks toward the sea from a natural slope, surrounded by woods full of oak, chestnut, rare Mediterranean plants and olives.
The holiday farm receives guests in one of the farmhouses, modified and enlarged over the years and recently remodelled. The house is set between woods on the up-slope, where there are paths for walking, and olive trees and other cultivations on the remaining lands.
There are 6 rooms of varying sizes able to comfortably accommodate a total of 20 guests while still maintaining the peace and tranquillity of the countryside.
On the ground floor there is the dining room where you can taste traditional Calabrian dishes, or if you prefer you can sit out on the terrace from which there is a splendid and unique view.
Many of the farm-grown products that go into our dishes can also be purchased: for example salamis, preserves, jams, vegetables preserved in oil, olive oil, liqueurs.
Nearby there are many things to do, in addition to seaside activities on the beaches of the Riviera di Cedri, for example you can visit the towns of the area (Diamante 3 km, Cirella 1 km, Scalea 10 km, Maratea about 30 km); for nature lovers there is the Pollino national park, hiking, or rafting or hydrospeed on one of the waterways of southern Italy.
