This museum is a real gem for the wealth of its contents and the mode of exhibition: modern and arranged well, the visit flows through rooms which tell the Hellenistic story, coherently and with a wealth of information, of ancient Kroton.
But not only: from prehistory to the Middle Ages, with valuable pieces collected and carefully catalogued since the founding of the museum (1910).
Information on the city’s founding and the Pythagorean school is of particular interest.
