The Logudorese dialect is considered the purest of Sardinian dialects and it has fascinated linguistic historians and dialectologists for many years.
However, Logudoro-Meilogu is also a fascinating region from a landscape and touristic point of view thanks to its special archaeological value. Santa Antine di Torralba, for example, is a complex of ‘nuraghi’ of significant importance, and it is well represented by this museum where numerous artefacts from the excavations are on display through a prehistorical-historical itinerary from the Bronze and Iron Ages, to the Roman, Barbaric and Medieval periods.
