For the entire month of October, weekends in Palazzuolo are lively and the numerous typical products of the area are on display. During the festivities, in addition to music, it is possible to taste delicious dishes offer at numerous gastronomic stands. And in the place of honour are chestnuts and other products of the chestnut forests of Palazzuolo which extend in the upper Senio valley. Using chestnut flour, the local women turn out numerous sweets and delicacies which are available to taste during this festival.
This locality is part of the so-called Tuscan Romagna where the inhabitants have clustered around the principal parish churches, among which San Giovanni Battista at Misileo can be mentioned.
