The park of Collina Torinese

The park of Collina Torinese
Just a short distance from Turin, with a magnificent view of the city, there are two very interesting natural areas that make up the park of Collina Torinese: the forest of Vaj and the hills of Superga: Together they make up the inestimable patrimony the capital’s region, which too many times has neglected the equilibrium of the environment that surrounds it.
The park of Superga offers vast forest areas and many panoramic itineraries through the hardwood forests or along hills covered by conifers.
The forest of Vaj, instead, is particular because of its nature reserve forest of mountain beech trees which are very rare for a hillside environment like this one. To protect this precious and rare environment, the use of these trees has been controlled in the past two years.
