Placed in the low north-eastern slope of mount Etna, the farm offers various possibilities of staying to the lovers of the sea and of the mountains, having a lot of farmhouses placed in the neighbouring towns. The most important farmhouse, the centre, is in the territory of Saint Leonardello, hamlet of the town of Giarre, in the province of Catania. Here, in rural houses completely restored in harmony and syntony with the sorrounding country, you can enjoy a comfortable and relaxing stay, some minutes from the sea and the most important tourist places of Eastern Sicily.The farm prevently with a citrus trend, presents in intercropping with the citrus grove, fruit bearing plants and has chosen the production in a biological regime guarenteeing in such a way the authenticity of its own produce. Guests that stay overnight have the possibility of an excellent refreshment, at S. Leonardello's farmhouse based on typical and traditional sicilian plates realized with biological products of the kitchen-garden and with fresh fish of the near sea. The assortment of Etna's D.O.C. wine and the variety of sicilian famous pastry-making is wide. The farmhouse offers to its own guests the possibility to choose and to buy genuine just picked produce: lemons, kumquats, vegetables, fresh fruit, eggs, dried fruit.
Besides in the farmhouse we produce and pack: lemon liquor, kumquat liquor, orange liquor, pomegranate liquor, jam and tomato souce, honey, aromatic oil. Who loves the mountains on the other hand can choose the rural house of Fornazzo, surrounded by a wood formed by numerous herbaceous and shrubby kinds typical of the Etnean vegetation; inserted in the Etnean Park, point base for the escursions to the crater. The town of Fornazzo has been nominated "Ideal village of Italy" by a famous naturalistic magazine because has saved its characteristic appearance; here you can find quiet and wellbeing in contact with nature, immersed in the wonderful Sicilian climate.
The farm has a familiar management and is open all the year round.
