Exactly midway between Cataniaand Siracusa, the farm is at an elevation of 100 metres above sea level, lying among the lowest hills of the white Ibleo plain, only 8 km from the beauty of the sea at Brucoli and with other seaside resorts even nearer.

The farm covers an area of more than 100 hectares and a great variation of landscapes: lovely green citrus groves alternate with olive groves and arid Sicilian pastures; the deep valley carved by the San Calogero river hosts numerous archaeological remains from the ?Castellucciana ? civilization (pre-Greek period) and a delightful woodland rich in Mediterranean flavour.

In addition to the production of citrus and olive oil, ? San Calogero? riding horses are raised here. The horses are a source of pride for their owners and one of the horses, Zigolo di San Calogero, participated in the Olympic Games in Atlanta.
