Just 1,5 Km far from Castelnuovo Garfagnana in the quite and the green Garfgnanan’ s valley there is the Restaurant Hotel “La Lanterna” managed by the Turri ‘ s family who has been running in the restoration and hospitality field for 30 years and will be able to give you the right care to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay.

The semplicity of  our reception will make you welcome and give you all the assistence you neede for a pleasant  stay. The English speaking staff will provide you any information about hiking, bike and horse riding tours, trains’ timetabel, bus and taxi services, as well folkloristic shows which take place in our valley.

In the all you will find our sitting room where you can confortably relaz yourselves watching the satellite television or reading a fresh-print newspaper.

Next to the hall there is the breakfast roomwhere you can taste our home-madepies added to the variety of an american breakfast in our rich buffet: the best awakening to start a new day.

The entire building is sourraunded by an ever flowery garden that it is an excellent place to relax yourselves after a day spent on the mountains or to lie at ease at the warm summer sun, staying outdoor all day long.A safe playing area for children allows both parents and sons to enjoy and amese themselves.      

The outside terrace is our guests’ preferred meeting place to enjoy an appetizer or a cocktail drink in the fascinating background of the Apuan Alpes which, in the evening, mixing with the red of the sunset offer an extraordinary sight in which nature expresses itself in all its beauty.
