“Locanda Zacco” has been named by the managers, Cristiano and Matteo, for their uncle Isacco (Zacco for short) who had a small grocery store here in the 1950s.
After two generations, Zacco’s nephews decided to bring the building back to life, but this time as an inn where guests can stay in simple but cosy rooms (with private bathroom with shower and hairdryer, satellite tv and telephone) and taste delicious traditionally Tuscan and Italian dishes together with quality wines.
Spending a day at Locanda Zacco means enjoying a suggestive landscapes, surrounded by chestnut woods and the tranquillity of mid-elevation mountains, yet still near enough to the comforts of town. The afternoon ritual of the aperitivo is a special time, both in winter while sipping a glass of good wine near the fireplace and in summer in the garden with the Valdinievole and Florence plain stretched out in front of you.
