Our Valverde estate in located among the rolling hills of Umbria, surrounded by estensive fields of wheat and sunflowers, vineyards and olive orchards. The Valverde farm is specialised in family-style tourism, having all the comforts to make our guests feel special, inviting relaxation and permitting you to find the tranquillity that is often lost as a result of everyday stress and problems.
The estate extends over about 500 hectares, offering a wide variety of activities: hiking, cycling, sports fishing, ping-pong, clay pigeon shooting, hunting, farming activities, swimming lessons for children, Umbrian cooking courses, guided excursion to hunt for wild asparagus, mushrooms and blackberries. Within a range of just a few kilometres, you can also go horseback riding or play golf.
We have two beautiful 18th-century houses that have been recently refurbished and now contain 9 independent apartments able to accommodate 4-8 guests; each unit has been furnished with particular care to create a truly welcoming environment. The units are accessible to the disabled and have tv, equipped kitchens, independent heating, and offer parking and swimming pool use. And all this with a suggestive and panoramic view as a backdrop! The Valverde estate is open all year.
We also have on-site a nice restaurant with a summer terrace overlooking the lake where you can enjoy the flavours and dishes as well as wines that are typical of the area. You can purchase products from our estate, such as olive oil, wine and legumes.
The vicinity of Valverde to many sites of tourist and cultural interest make it an ideal spot for those who wish to rest in the peace and quiet of the countryside and still visit places such as Perugia, Assisi, Spoleto and Trasimeno lake, as well as cities like Florence, Siena and Orvieto which are also easy to reach.
